Be inspired: Camping at Main Range is perfect for kids who never stop!

We love them dearly, but high-energy kids are hard work. They’re courageous and inventive, making their own adventures wherever they go (anyone else got one that climbs everything?), and while we admire their creativity, there’s no denying that the task of managing their energy levels is enough to deplete our own. Scenic Rim Trail

The Scenic Rim Trail is a 4-day (3-night) hiking adventure for experienced bushwalkers through private property and the rugged and remote mountains of Main Range National Park, at the northern tip of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area.

The trail begins on private property and incorporates new and existing walking trails. It was built through a partnership between the Queensland Government and ecotourism operator Spicers Retreats, Hotels and Lodges Pty Ltd (Spicers), which was selected through a competitive Expression of Interest process.

Three small camping areas designated exclusively as Scenic Rim Trail walkers camps are available to hikers on the Scenic Rim Trail.

Visit Scenic Rim Trail for further information about the trail and how to make camping bookings.
