With eucalypt forest and a creek as a backdrop, Broadwater camping area is great place to stay. Fall asleep to nocturnal rustlings and wake to a dawn chorus of forest birds. It's very popular during weekends and school holidays so ensure you book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
Wet a line in the creek (but not near the main swimming hole) or cool off with a dip. Enjoy a fry-up on the wood-fired barbeque or sit around the fire ring and swap stories by firelight. Stretch your legs on the nearby Rainforest and Creek walks and, in winter (when conditions are safe), canoe in sections of Broadwater Creek.
