Passing through rainforest as it follows an old timber-hauling or ‘snig’ track, this walk allows you to view loading ramps and old stumps—logging relics of the past. Fenced for your safety, remnants of an old shaft provide an insight into how miners searched for tin.

Getting there and getting around

H track is in the Mount Spec section of Paluma Range National Park. It starts on Lennox Crescent and finishes on Whalley Crescent. Both roads are off Mount Spec Road in the Paluma township.

From Barrett Road, turn onto Mount Spec Road and drive to Paluma township. Lennox Crescent is the first turn to the left off Mount Spec Road. Follow the road 200m and park off the road on the left next to the walking track totem sign.

Wheelchair access

H track is not wheelchair-accessible.

Before you visit

Opening hours
