Wonderful walk around the reservoir and also among the animals. Great cafe with lovely outlook, and friendly helpful staff. Looks like a lovely place to have a wedding too.

We had our wedding here and it is a very nice location for a bush themed wedding. You are surrounded by Australian bush and have view over the wonderful lake. The reception was also on site and was very well set up, and the catering was first class. Some of the best food I've ever had at a wedding.

The Enoggera Reservoir in a bushland setting is awesome and the center, with its zoo, Cafe and bookstore is very impressive. It is the place to visit for hiking, off-road pedaling, swimming and canoeing. It is a place of beauty; an escape from the city and the burbs but within easy reach on the city's edge.

Our wildlife and park rangers look forward to welcoming you to the Walkabout Creek Discovery Centre. As part of our COVID-safe plan, we have implemented some changes:

  • All entry must be pre-booked online to guarantee admission to our Wildlife Centre or Wildlife Discovery Shows.

  • Floor/ground markings will help guide you in the right direction when visiting our park and Wildlife Centre.
  • Enhanced cleaning, particularly in our high-contact areas, doors, bathrooms and visitor centre areas is in place.
  • Our Wildlife Discovery Show is moving to an outdoor venue so visitors can still see and experience our unique species up close.

  • Contactless payments are strongly encouraged across the centre.
