What a beautiful spot. We did the 5km loop with a group of adults and kids. Took us just over an hour and a half and was a great walk for the kids. Cool ro see some wildlife too. There are plenty more walks available also. Also looked to have mountain bike trails too. There were many people out on the lake, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. People were also making use of the swimming area too. The Cafe area looked busy and will have a better look at that, next time we visit. Awesome to have a little piece of nature like that so close to the city. A must visit spot.

The zoo was lovely. Small, but informative, with Billy the Wombat being taken for walks around the pens. The staff were friendly and very helpful, with very well maintained viewing areas. Highly recommend a great day out 🙂🙂.

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. I asked to do the wildlife show but as I was the only one, instead a ranger gave me a personal tour of the animals including feeding the lizards. They don’t have a huge number of animals but they also charge very little ($5-9) to go through the wildlife centre so definitely worth it. Lunch at the cafe was excellent (toasted chicken pesto sandwich) and very reasonably priced.

Pretty great! I know the cost to enter goes for a great cause but it becomes an expensive trip for a family to see animals. A similar place exists in Ipswich and runs for gold coin donation. Regardless was a good trip!

The venue was amazing, parking was easy and was very easy to find. Had a friend's birthday there and the view from the balcony overlooking the animals was just awesome. I saw so many native animals and a few I had never seen. Staff were excellent and very helpful when I ordered drinks and coffee. Will be going back for a more detailed look around the area. Will be worth the time.
