Nice place. 8 dollars to get in. You can see some Queensland animals, but unfortunately the outdoor space was under maintenance when I was there. I visited this place and did sup on the lake, I recommend both activities. In half a day you can do everything. Recommended.

Great place to take 6 year olds to see some wildlife in Brisbane. Older kids can paddle kayaks in the swimming reserve. Cafe pavilion overlooks the water.

Close enough to leave the city and experience beauty of the forest and wildlife in an hour. Friendly staff in the cafe and centre makes for very pleasant excursion.

Ordered a picnic basket at the cafe@ the discovery centre. Not bad for what it cost, I believe it was $50 A huge salad with radish and pumpkin. Smoke chicken with grill lemon. By the time we arrive to pick up the picnic basket, it was pouring rain and they allow us to eat the food in their function room instead. Very thoughtful of them. The reservoir is beautiful to look at. Surely I will bring my paddle board here next time.
