Extensive mangrove stands along estuary with some channel islands/sandbars present.
Supports important commercial prawn fishery; recreational finfish area; Indigenous fishing; bream; estuary cod; flathead; garfish; grey mackerel; mangrove jack; sea mullet; school mackerel; whiting; banana prawns.
