Camping area features: located next to the beach and surrounded by areas of paperbark and mangrove forests—Be Crocwise in croc country.
Location: the first camp site is located 500m north of the camping information shelter. The last one is near the mouth of Bluemetal Creek, 1.4km from the camping information shelter.
Access: Access under normal conditions is by conventional vehicle. Visitors should be aware that the unsealed, narrow section of road can be rough, and after rain may become impassable or only accessible by four-wheel-drive vehicle. Trailers can be towed with care, however they can only camp in sites 1–3 due to site sizes and tight turnarounds. Caravans and motorhomes cannot access this camping area.

Open fires: allowed (except when fire bans apply) at your camp site only. Firewood is not provided and must not be collected from the park. Fuel stoves are recommended.
Generators: only generators that operate at or below 65dB(A) when measured 7m from the generator are allowed. Generators may be operated between 9.00am and 12.00pm (midday) only.
Essentials to bring: drinking water, rubbish bags, insect repellent, firewood or preferably a fuel stove, and trowel or shovel. Read more about before you visit.
