Set on the edge of Noosa Heads township, amid towering eucalypt forest, Laguna Lookout showcases strikingly-beautiful views of Laguna Bay and Noosa's main beach.
Follow a short path through giant grey gum, pink bloodwood, ironbark and tallowwood trees to the lookout. Watch for kookaburras, lace monitors and koalas clinging to the tree trunks.
At the lookout, let your eyes roam Noosa's stunning coastline toward the mouth of the Noosa River. Gaze north and westwards to see the volcanic plugs of the Noosa Hinterland, particularly beautiful at sunset.
See humpback whales between June and November, migrating to and from their northern breeding grounds.
