Features: camp along the 17km Home Rule track in a quiet and remote national park.
Location: Granite Creek camping area is located about 50m north of the junction of Slaty and Granite creeks, on the Home Rule side of the Slaty Creek crossing. Bush camping is allowed elsewhere along the track if required.
Access: only accessible by foot from either Home Rule Rainforest Lodge or from Cedar Bay along the Home Rule track.
Number of sites: Granite Creek camping area is an open area without separately defined sites. Bush camping is allowed elsewhere along the track in any suitable spot.
Camp sites are suitable for: walk-in camping only.
Camp site surface: dirt and leaf litter.
Facilities: none.
Open fires: not allowed. Fuel stoves are recommended.
Generators: prohibited.
