Just over an hour north of Bundaberg on Queensland’s central coast there’s a little-known place, Deepwater National Park, that’s perfect for a short break or weekend getaway for the whole family. Camping in Deepwater

Vehicle-based camping is permitted at Wreck Rock and Middle Rock in Deepwater National Park camping areas.

Wreck Rock camping area can be accessed by four-wheel-drive from the north or by conventional vehicle from the south. Toilets and a cold outdoor shower are provided.

Middle Rock camping area is accessible only by high clearance four-wheel-drive. No facilities provided.

Camping permits are required and fees apply. A camping tag—printable after booking online—with your booking number must be displayed at your camp site.
