In addition to the existing flood-related closure of Lawn Hill Gorge section, the southern section of Boodjamulla National Park (Aboriginal Land) is now closed due to high rainfall -- this includes Riversleigh World Heritage Area and Miyumba camping area. Roads and river crossings are inaccessible in the region.
This parkwide closure includes all visitor facilities, day-use areas, camping areas, walking tracks and vehicle access tracks.
Please observe all access warnings, signage, barriers and directions from rangers and do not enter closed areas.
