Maintenance and site rehabilitation within camping areas at Inskip Peninsula Recreation Area will commence from Monday 4 March with completion expected by Friday 17 May 2024, pending favourable weather conditions.

The following camping areas will be temporarily closed as per dates listed below:

• S.S. Dorrigo from 4 to 15 March 2024.
• Dorrigo South from 4 to 15 March 2024.
• M.V. Beagle from 18 to 27 March 2024.
• M.V. Natone from 18 to 27 March 2024.
• M.V. Sarawak from 7 to 17 May 2024.
• Sarawak West from 7 to 17 May 2024.

All closed camping areas will reopen at 12pm on the following day.

For visitors with camping bookings over this closure period you are advised to move your booking or apply for a refund. To modify or cancel your booking please visit www.qld.gov.au/camping and log into your account.

Large machinery will be operating in the closed areas during these maintenance works.

For your safety, please observe all signs, barriers and directions from rangers and contractors and not enter closed areas.
