This alert applies to the following park:

The Mt Kiangarow track and Burtons Well to Cherry Plain walk are closed, due to damage to the boot-washing station at the track entrance sustained during a severe weather event causing fallen trees.

Washdown stations help to prevent the spread of Phytophthora, a plant pathogen which causes disease in the Bunya pines. Tracks will re-open when the washdown stations are repaired.

Alternative walking tracks from Westcott, Paradise carpark and Dandabah remain open to visitors. The Cherry Plain to Westcott track also remains open, although access to the Cherry Plain lookout is closed.
