Wards Canyon closure due to flood damage

Closure status: A facility or feature within the park is closed

This alert applies to the following park:

Flood damage at Carnarvon Gorge has led to the temporary closure of Wards Canyon while rangers undertake repairs.

All other walking tracks at Carnarvon Gorge are now open unless otherwise signed.

Wards Canyon will re-open when repairs are completed.

Please monitor park alerts on the department's website for updated information.

Please observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers and do not enter closed areas.
