The Cochable Creek camping and day-use area access road (H road) is currently restricted to two tonne GVM vehicles. The restriction is due to a council imposed load limit on the timber road bridge, located approximately 3.5km from the Tully River bridge entrance point. Please adhere to load limit signage and check the Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) of your vehicle before crossing this bridge.
Enquiries about the load limit or bridge should be directed to the Cassowary Coast Regional Council on 1300 763 903.
