Camping on the Goldfield trail
Camp about halfway along the Goldfield trail at the Mulgrave River top causeway. The camping area is at the end of the old logging road, alongside the Mulgrave River.
Camping is also permitted at the north-west end of the trail, at the Goldsborough Valley camping area.
Only experienced and well-equipped bushwalkers should do overnight hikes in this area. A camping permit must be obtained in advance and camping fees apply.
Mulgrave River top causeway bush camping area is located beside the Mulgrave River, half way along the Goldfield trail.
