Firebreak upgrades in protected areas south of Brisbane

Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service and Partnerships will be conducting works to upgrade firebreaks along a number of boundaries in Venman Bushland National Park and other protected areas south of Brisbane. Photo credit: Ian Witheyman ©️ Queensland Government.

One of the largest remaining areas of eucalypt forest in the coastal lowlands near Brisbane, this park and other forest remnants in the region are important habitat for koalas and other wildlife.

Venman Bushland National Park is 40km south of Brisbane city on West Mount Cotton Road
