A bush camping area is provided adjacent to Lake Nuga Nuga. Visitors must be self-sufficient in food, water, fuel, vehicle spares and medical supplies.

Camping permits are required and fees apply. A camping tag with your booking number must be displayed at your camp site.

Nuga Nuga bush camping area

Camping area features: a remote bush camping spot on the banks of Lake Nuga Nuga.

Location: the camping area is located near the information stand and accessed from the main road to the park, 7km from Arcadia Valley Access Road.

Access: 4WD vehicles are recommended. It is accessible for off-road camper trailers, off-road caravans and off-road motorhomes during dry weather.

Number of sites: open area without separately defined sites.

Camp sites are suitable for: tent camping beside your car; walk-in camping; off-road caravans; off-road camper trailers and off-road motorhomes.

Camp site surface: dirt.

Facilities: none.

Open fires: allowed (except when fire bans or prohibitions apply). Bring your own clean-milled firewood.

Generator use: not allowed.

Essentials to bring: drinking water, first-aid kit, insect repellent, a gas stove and fuel, and/or firewood (clean mill off-cuts), and sealable containers for rubbish. Read more about things to know before you go.
