Facilities and activities
Location
The waters of Moreton Bay, from Caloundra to the southern tip of South Stradbroke Island and extending three nautical miles seaward from Moreton Island and North and South Stradbroke islands.
What's special
On Brisbane's doorstep, the wide expanse of Moreton Bay, offshore reefs, its numerous islands, internationally significant wetlands, seagrass meadows and sandy beaches make this park a haven for wildlife and people.
Please note: the Marine Parks (Moreton Bay) Zoning Plan 2019 came into effect on 1 September 2019. The remade Zoning Plan replaces the Marine Parks (Moreton Bay) Zoning Plan 2008 with no changes to the location of zones and designated areas. You may still make use of the resources available below, as they remain applicable. While they refer to the 2008 Zoning Plan, a process is underway to update references to the 2019 Zoning Plan.
