Camping area features: a small level clearing in the rainforest near Hinson Creek, identified by a timber totem. If the designated clearing is overgrown, you can camp off the track in another suitable site.
Location: on Cannabullen Creek track, at its junction with Cardwell Range track—2.1km from Hinson Creek trailhead or 16.9km from Cardwell Range trailhead. If walking Cannabullen Creek track from the south it is 5km from Carter Creek camping area or 11.5km from Cochable Creek camping area.
Access: the camping area can be reached on foot or by mountain bike only.
Number of sites: open area without separately defined sites. Maximum of 10 people.
Camp sites are suitable for: walk-in or cycle-in camping.
Camp site surface: dirt.
Facilities: none.
Open fires: not allowed. Fuel stoves are recommended.
Generators: prohibited.
