Aptly named Mia Mia State Forest, meaning view or lookout, sits nestled in the foothills of the Clarke Range.

Camping area features: no facilities, campers must be fully self-sufficient. There are no defined camping areas in Mia Mia State Forest however bush camping is permitted in this open eucalypt forest.

Location: bush camping is permitted in all areas of the park.

Access: walk-in bush camping or access by four-wheel-drive vehicles, motor cycles, trailbikes and bicycles.

Number of sites: undefined. Choose camp locations to minimise damage to vegetation. Maximum number of 80 people can camp throughout the park at one time.

Camp sites are suitable for: walk-in camping, tent camping beside your car, and camper trailers.

Camp site surface: natural ground surface, no defined/cleared sites.

Facilities: none.

Open fires: prohibited. Fuel stoves are recommended.

Generators: prohibited.
