The Forts Junction Hub

Visitors can enjoy better and safer access to Magnetic Island’s most popular walking trails, following a major upgrade to the Forts Junction Hub.

The Forts Junction Hub’s $2.35 million infrastructure upgrade enhances community access to the site, providing much-needed amenities, as well as an orientation centre for the island’s trail network.

Traffic flow and vehicle and pedestrian safety around the Forts Junction Hub has greatly improved, with more parking spaces, and a safe drop off point for visitors. It caters for a range of transport options to access the Forts walk, including walking tracks, scooters, bicycles, buses and other vehicles.
