About Kalpowar

Picnic or camp in a tranquil bush setting beside Crane Creek near the start of McNae Road. The open grassy camp sites are suitable for families and large groups. Camping permits are required and fees apply.

Horses, dogs (on a leash), mountain bikes and motor bikes are permitted on forest roads within the State forest unless otherwise signed.

All vehicles including caravans, motorhomes and trailers must be registered to be permitted on forest roads within the State forest.

Trail bikes may be driven on roads in Kalpowar State Forest. Drivers must be fully licensed and their bike must be road-registered. Conditionally registered vehicles are not permitted.

For your safety and to minimise damage to the forest, stay on existing roads. Observe and comply with the instructions on all signs.
