Camping area 2

Camping area 2 is located in an open grassy area next to a brackish waterhole, in the eastern section of the park. The waterhole is a land-locked creek inundated by saltwater during spring tides.

Features: open grassy area next to a land-locked creek inundated by salt water during spring tides, known locally as 'brackish waterhole'.

Location: in the eastern section of the park.

Access: the camping area can be reached by 4WD only. It is accessible for off-road caravans and camper trailers.

Boat access: no access provided but small boats can be launched from the bank of the creek.

Number of sites: open area without separately defined sites. A maximum of 15 people are permitted in the camping area.

Camp sites are suitable for: tent camping beside your car and off-road caravans and camper trailers.

Camp site surface: grass.

Facilities: individual fire rings.

Open fires: allowed in fire rings only (except when fire bans apply).

Generator use: permitted between 8.00am and 12.00 noon and only if the noise level is less than 55 dB(A) measured at a distance of 7m from the generator.
