Camping area features: A quiet camping area on the edge of Moonlight Dam—a popular place for birds to drink at dusk.
Location: from the Peak Downs Highway, turn west into Nebo-Glenden Road. Follow this road for 11.2 km and turn right into Turrawulla Road. From this intersection drive about 23 km, passing the Homevale-Mount Britton turn-off, to the signed right-hand turn into Moonlight Dam camping area. From this turn-off, it is 6 km to the camping area.
Access: 4WD vehicles are recommended.
Number of sites: open area without defined sites.
Camp sites are suitable for: tent camping; high-clearance camper trailers.
Camp site surface: grass.
Facilities: pit toilet and tank water (treat before drinking).
Open fires: prohibited. Fuel stoves are recommended.
Generators: not allowed.
