Crediton Hall walkers' camp

While away the days at this popular camping area sprawled along both banks of the North Kennedy River.

Camping area features: grassy reserve around Crediton Hall.

Location: 14.7 km south-east of Eungella on Crediton Loop Road.

Access: the camping area can be reached by walkers and conventional vehicles and on foot from the Mackay Highlands Great Walk.

Number of sites: open area without separately defined sites. Maximum of 24 people.

Camp sites are suitable for: tent camping beside your car; walk-in camping.

Camp site surface: grass.

Facilities: water (treat before drinking), composting toilets, picnic tables.

Open fires: prohibited. Fuel stoves are recommended.

Generators: not allowed.

Essentials to bring: sufficient food and water, rubbish bags, insect repellent and sunscreen. Read more about before you visit.

Bookings: Crediton Hall camping area is managed by Mackay Regional Council. Campers must self-register upon arrival using the self-registration envelopes available from a dispenser at the toilet block.
