Location: Wongai walkers' camp is 11km one way from the Conondale Range Great Walk entrance at Booloumba Creek day-use area.
Access: The walkers’ camp is only accessible by foot.
Number of sites: There are 6 camp sites within this walkers' camp. The maximum number of people who can stay at each camp site is 4.
Camp sites are suitable for: walk-in camping only.
Camp site surface: Dirt.
Facilities: Untreated drinking water and a toilet at the walkers’ camp. A platform seat is provided at each camp site.
Open fires: Prohibited—use a fuel or gas stove only.
Generators: Prohibited.
Essentials to bring: Fuel or gas stove, water treatment tablets or purification kit, insect repellent, washing up basin, ground sheet to place under your tent to prevent wear, warm clothes and wet weather gear. Read more about before you visit.
Bookings: book online or learn about our camping booking options. Book in advance for all weekends, public holidays and school holidays. Bookings can be made up to 12 months in advance.
