Great Walk Walkers’ camps

The Conondale Range Great Walk starts and finishes at Booloumba Creek day-use area in Conondale National Park.

There are three camping areas on the Conondale Range Great Walk. These are Wongai walkers' camp, Tallowwood walkers' camp and Summer Falls walkers' camp.

Each walkers’ camp has platform seats, untreated drinking water and a toilet. Bins are not provided—all rubbish must be carried out. Open fires are not permitted.

There are six individual camp sites within each walkers' camp. A maximum group size of four people per camp site applies. You can stay for a maximum of one night at each walkers’ camp.

Camping permits are required and fees apply. Book in advance for all weekends, public holidays and school holidays. Bookings can be made up to 12 months in advance.
