Camping area features: open woodland adjacent to waterhole.

Location: just south of intersection 61, 35km north of the park entrance.

Access: the camping area can be reached by high clearance 4WD only.

Number of sites: open area without separately defined sites for a maximum of 18 campers.

Camp sites are suitable for: tent camping beside your car.

Camp site surface: dirt, grass.

Facilities: none.

Open fires: allowed (except when fire bans apply). Bring your own clean, milled timber. Fuel stoves are recommended. To prevent wildfires, please keep any fires at least 2m clear of flammable materials and extinguish with water when not attended.

Generators: permitted. Generators that operate at or below 65dB(A) are allowed between the hours of 9am to 8pm.  Please follow Queensland Parks and forest generator use guidelines.
