Camping in Forest Den
Relax on the banks of Torrens Creek, where the coolibahs and river red gums shade Four Mile Waterhole camping area.
Camping permits are required and fees apply. A camping tag with your booking number must be displayed at your camp site.
Park-specific conditions
- Be alert and prepared for changes in weather. Part of the Cooper Creek catchment, even small amounts of rain in the park or the surrounding areas can cause floods at any time of year. If heavy rain or minor flooding occurs, please move to higher ground.
- Camp fires are permitted, except when fie prohibitions or fire bans are in place. Bring your own clean, pest free firewood. Collecting firewood from the park is prohibited. Fuel stoves are recommended.
