Upper Davies Creek camping area consists of 8 separate and numbered camp sites scattered along a stretch of Davies Creek in tall open forest.

Camping area features: sites are scattered along a stretch of Davies Creek in tall open forest.

Location: in Dinden National Park—10km along Davies Creek Road (3.8km past Lower Davies Creek camping area).

Access: four-wheel-drive or high clearance vehicles are recommended—the road is not suitable for caravans or large motorhomes.

Camp sites are suitable for: tents or camper trailer.

Camp site surface: dirt and sand.

Facilities: fire rings and pit toilets—each toilet is shared between two adjacent camp sites.

Open fires: allowed (except when fire bans apply) in fire rings only. Firewood is not provided and must not be collected from the parks. Bring your own firewood and take any unused firewood home with you. Fuel stoves are recommended.

Generators: not allowed.

Essentials to bring: drinking water, rubbish bags, firewood or a fuel stove, comprehensive first-aid kit, insect repellent and sun protection. Read more about before you visit.
