Camping in Davies Creek, Dinden and Bare Hill

Camping bookings

Campers must obtain an e-camping permit and pay their camping fees before arriving at the camping area. Book your camping area:

Camping is available at Lower Davies Creek camping area in Davies Creek National Park and further along Davies Creek Road at Upper Davies Creek camping area in Dinden National Park. Both are e-permit camping areas—all sites must be booked in advance. Lower Davies Creek camping area can be booked 12 months in advance and Upper Davies Creek camp sites can be booked 6 months in advance.

There are limited facilities—campers must be self-sufficient. All camp sites are close to Davies Creek. Toilets are provided at both camping areas. Fires are allowed at the camp sites in Upper Davies Creek camping area (Dinden National Park), but only in the fireplaces provided. Firewood must not be collected from the parks. Fires are not allowed in Lower Davies Creek camping area (Davies Creek National Park).

Camping permits are required and fees apply. A tag with your booking number must be displayed at your camp site.

    Upper Davies Creek camping area consists of 8 separate and numbered camp sites scattered along a stretch of Davies Creek in tall open forest.
