Nestled in the heart of Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast, David Fleay is a wildlife park with a difference! As one of only two Queensland Government owned and operated wildlife parks, our focus is not only on our wildlife, but the conservation of their habitats and the education of all those who visit.
Our school excursions feature environmental education activities linked with the Australian Curriculum, including topics such as habitats, animal adaptations and life cycles. Your students will experience Queensland’s natural environment through educational talks, wildlife presentations, interactive experiences with native animals, and self-guided walks. We have programs for preschool to year five, and activities can be tailored to suit your educational needs.
