Features: a secluded, pebbly beachside camp.
Location: approximately a 2.1km one-way walk from the Swamp Bay/Mount Rooper car park, or approximately 6km one-way by boat/kayak from Shute Harbour (fine weather only).

Access: the camping area can be reached on foot or by boat/kayak at high tide in fine weather only. Please check weather conditions prior to departure and travel with care. Swamp Bay is exposed to the north and there are no protected anchorage sites.
Number of sites: 4 sites (separate but not numbered). Maximum of 4 people per site.
Camp sites are suitable for: walk-in camping or vessel (at high tide) with caution.
Camp site surface: natural gravel.
Facilities: picnic tables and shelter shed. Toilet facilities are not available, please follow the caring for parks and forests guidelines when you visit.
Open fires: prohibited. Fuel stoves are recommended.
Generators: prohibited.
Essentials to bring: campers must be completely self-sufficient, carry drinking water, food, rubbish bags, insect repellent and a fuel stove. Read more about before you visit.
