Camping area features: dry grassy camping area with lemon scented gums dominating the surrounds.

Location: on the eastern side of the four-wheel-drive loop road accessed from Bulburin Forest Road at the top of the range—21km from Builyan and 38km from the Bruce Highway via the Granite Creek access.

Access: the road is unsealed and can be reached via Builyan in a four-wheel-drive vehicle in dry weather only. Access from the Bruce Highway on the Granite Creek Forestry Road is possible for four-wheel-drive vehicles only in dry weather. It is not accessible for vehicles towing on-road trailers, caravans or for motor homes. Read more about getting there and getting around.

Number of sites: open area without separately defined sites. Maximum of 5 people per camp.

Camp sites are suitable for: tent camping beside your vehicle.

Camp site surface: dirt/grass.

Facilities: none, visitors must be self-sufficient and prepared for emergencies.

Open fires: prohibited. Fuel stoves are recommended to minimise impacts.

Generators: not allowed.

Essentials to bring: all food and drinking water, sturdy rubbish bags, insect repellent, sun protection, remote-area first-aid kit, reliable torch, and communications equipment. Read more about before you visit.
