    Choosing your camp site

    Zone 1 camp sites are more widely dispersed to promote less interaction with other groups and a greater sense of isolation. Some nodes have more than one site. No toilets provided. Please bring a portable toilet to help reduce bush toileting. Fires are permitted only in fire rings provided. All camp sites are numbered. Bollards delineate camp sites / car parks. Generators are not permitted in this zone

    Zone 2 camp sites offer mid to high social setting with clusters of camp sites in reasonably close proximity. Encounters with other campers will occur. Camp sites are defined with post and rails. Toilet facilities are provided for use by campers. Bush toileting in this zone not permitted. All campsites are numbered. Fires are permitted only in fire rings provided. Defined access and exits from this camping node, including one way traffic flows. Generators are not permitted in this zone.

    * Note (a): Sites 25–29 are located in close proximity of each other. This camping node is well suited to multiple groups wishing to camp together. Sites are more suited to tents. Camper trailers are advised not to enter this area.

    * Note (b): Beach Access N provides access to sites 30–34 including 3 camper trailer sites (sites 31–33). Site 30 has no ocean views and is suitable for tent camping only. No toilets at this node of camp sites, however the toilet facility at the main Ocean Beach camping area via Access P is only a short distance up the beach.

    * Note (c): Site 61 is also known as the Northern Group camping area. There is no toilet facility at this location, please bring a portable toilet or use the toilets located at Forts day-use area (approx 150m). Camping is only permitted within defined area/s. Delineated grassed areas to western side of access track are for additional tents only. Ocean views at this site.

    * Note (d): Sites 62–64 are to the rear of the dunes and walk in only. Parking is immediately adjacent to site. Distance from vehicle to camp sites is less than 30m. Expect encounters with other campers during peak periods. No ocean views from these sites. There is no toilet facility at this location, please bring a portable toilet or use the toilets located at Forts day-use area (approx. 150m).
