Alligator Creek camping area, Mount Elliot
Tent camping on a dirt surface beside Alligator Creek (Mount Elliot section) visitors can relax among gum trees or go walking to explore the surrounding creek environment.

Camping area features: beside Alligator Creek visitors can relax among gum trees or go walking to explore the surrounding creek environment.
Location: 600m beyond the main access gate, along the banks of Alligator Creek.
Access: the camping area can be reached by conventional vehicle.
Number of sites: 16 numbered sites. Up to six people per site are allowed. See table below for detailed camp site descriptions.
Camp sites are suitable for: tent camping beside your car; small campervans and camper trailers.
Camp site surface: dirt.
Facilities: flushing toilets, cold showers, tap (water must be treated before drinking) and camping tables. Wheelchair-accessible camping tables are located at sites one and two. The amenities block is wheelchair accessible.
Open fires: prohibited. Bring a fuel or gas stove.
Generators: not permitted.
Essentials to bring: drinking water, rubbish bags, a fuel or gas stove and insect repellent. Read more about before you visit.

Mobile phone coverage: available. A public phone is located at the camping area amenities block.
