Camping area features: Large, open grassy area with vehicle access to sites. Ideal for family camping. Dogs are not allowed in camping area, but are allowed on a leash in the adjacent day-use area.

Location: 16km into Benarkin State Forest via Forest Drive, adjacent to Emu Creek.

Access: Accessible by conventional vehicles (with care) via gravel road with some steep, narrow and winding sections. The road can be very slippery in wet conditions, please be careful and drive accordingly. Watch for logging trucks. It is accessible for trailers, caravans, motorhomes and buses with care.

Number of sites: Open area without separately defined sites for up to 150 people.

Camp sites are suitable for: Tent camping beside your car; walk-in camping; caravans; camper trailers; motorhomes; large groups.

Camp site surface: Grass.

Facilities: Flushing toilets, cold showers, tap water (treat before drinking).

Open fires: Fuel stoves are recommended. Wood fires are allowed in the constructed fireplaces provided (except when fire bans apply).

Generators: Not allowed.

Essentials to bring: Drinking water, rubbish bags, insect repellent, fuel or gas stove. Bring your own firewood if you want to use the fireplaces.
