Getting there and getting around

Cedar Grove camping area is 12km west of Amamoor township via the Amamoor Creek Road. The camping area is nestled in the middle of Amamoor State Forest. The last section of Amamoor Creek Road is gravel—suitable for conventional vehicles, including vehicles towing caravans.

Warning! Heavy rain can flood creek crossings. If it’s flooded, forget it! Wait it out. Flood waters in this area rise and fall quickly and are a hazard to life and property. Even in a small amount of water the current can pick up your car and sweep you away.
