Inskip Peninsula Recreation Area visitor facilities remain closed due to COVID-19

This alert applies to the following park:

Due to COVID-19 risk and social distancing requirements, visitor facilities within the Inskip Peninsula Recreation Area remains closed to all permit holders, including commercial tour operators for the time being. This is a necessary precaution to safeguard the health and safety of the community but we are working on providing safe access soon.

It is anticipated that camping in parks, forests and recreation areas will reopen from 12 June 2020 as part of Stage 2 easing of restrictions. Stay tuned for information on when camping permits will be available for the Inskip Peninsula Recreation area.

We ask that you do not attempt to visit any of the areas that are closed, unless authorised, for your and your community’s safety and protection.

Compliance with the closures will be monitored.

We thank park users and the community for their support and cooperation during this time.
