Temporary suspension of public events and activities at Fort Lytton National Park

Applies 7 May to 30 June 2020

This alert applies to the following park:

For the health and wellbeing of our visitors, volunteers and staff and to limit the spread of COVID-19 the following activities are temporarily suspended:

  • Cannon firing on Sundays
  • Guided tours
  • Holiday programs
  • Night-time performances

Self-guided tours on Sundays will remain open. Visitors are asked to undertake social distancing of 1.5m or greater from other groups when walking around the park.

We will be monitoring the situation and will resume normal activities and events when the COVID-19 situation improves.

We apologise for any inconvenience to your family and holiday plans during this time.
