Applies 8 April to 12 June 2020

This alert applies to the following parks:

Due to COVID-19 risk and social distancing requirements, certain visitor facilities within Paluma Range National Park are closed until further notice. This is a necessary precaution to safeguard the health and safety of the community. From Saturday 2 May 2020, some previously closed sites will re-open, see list below.

Closed due to high risk:

  • All camping areas
  • Big Crystal Creek day-use area and Paradise waterhole and Rockslides swimming areas
  • Little Crystal Creek day-use area and swimming area.

Open from Saturday 2 May 2020:

  • Jourama Falls day-use area.

We ask that people do not attempt to visit any of the areas that are closed, unless authorised, for their and their community's safety and protection. Compliance with the closures will be monitored.

We thank park users and the community for their support and cooperation during this time.
