Daintree National Park Visitor Facilities - What is open and what is closed?

Applies 3 April to 12 June 2020

This alert applies to the following parks:

Due to COVID-19 risk and social distancing requirements, certain visitor facilities within Daintree National Park will be closed from 3 April 2020 until further notice. This is a necessary precaution to safeguard the health and safety of the community.

Closed due to high risk:

  • Mossman Gorge Section including the Mossman Gorge Visitor Centre
  • Noah Beach camping area

Remaining open:

  • Jindalba day use area and associated walk (one-way traffic only)
  • Dubuji day use area and associated walk (one-way traffic only)
  • Kulki day use area
  • Marrja day use area and associated boardwalk (one-way traffic only)
  • Kulki Boardwalk to Cape Tribulation lookout

We ask that people do not attempt to visit any of the areas that are closed, unless authorised, for their and their community’s safety and protection. Compliance with the closures will be monitored.
