This alert applies to the following park:
- Riversleigh World Heritage Area, Boodjamulla (Lawn Hill) National ParkOutback Queensland; Tropical North Queensland
Following months of flood recovery, Riversleigh World Heritage Area and Miyumba camping area are now open to visitors. Boodjamulla National Park's main gorge, where flood damage is most severe, remains closed while assessments and extensive recovery efforts continue.
Please monitor park alerts for updates and check Bureau of Meteorology for weather warnings and forecasts before visiting.
Don't walk, drive or ride through floodwaters. Remember, if it’s flooded forget it.
