Land formerly known as the Glen Rock State Forest has been converted to Main Range Conservation Park, allowing continuity of conservation for two key protected areas across the Scenic Rim.
Glen Rock State Forest will now formally be known as Main Range Conservation Park, and to maintain linkages to the state forest, the Casuarina camping area has been renamed the Glen Rock camping area.
What does this mean for park users:
Visitors can still enjoy the existing recreational opportunities including mountain biking, horse riding and camping at the permitted areas. Check out the Main Range Conservation Park website for more details about hiking, camping and shared trails.
