Visitors are advised that maintenance and resurfacing works will occur on walking tracks at Lake Eacham in Crater Lakes National Park between July and late September 2023. Works will include partial track closures whilst works are undertaken.

During the works, a section of the Lake Eacham children's walk will be closed from the southern entrance on McLeish Road to the intersection of the loop track. The circuit track around the lake will remain open during this time. The closure period for upgrade works is from 20 July 2023 until late September 2023.

The works and track closures are weather dependant and will happen on Mondays to Fridays and the walks will be fully open on Saturdays and Sundays.

There will be no impact to the day-use areas at Lake Eacham during this time.

Track construction teams will be on-site with construction machinery. For your safety, follow any signs or directions from rangers.
