The Eastern section of the Lochern tourist drive remains closed due to flood damage and wet conditions after major rainfalls and flooding of the Thomson River. This closure will continue up to and including Friday 26 May 2023, when conditions will be reviewed. The longer, Western section of the tourist drive is open and is accessible from the Ranger Base Information Centre or from the very southern end of Waterloo Road.
Please monitor park alerts for updates and check Bureau of Meteorology for weather warnings and forecasts before visiting.
