Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) will be conducting early to mid-season planned burns within Little Mulgrave National Park, commencing Tuesday 28 March 2023. This work will continue through to 27 July 2023 (conditions and weather permitting).
Target areas include the uphill slopes of the Gillies Range and Robsons walking track. Intermittent closures may also take place on the Robsons walking track, starting at the trailhead at Gillies Range lookout and also at the bottom of the track on the Gillies Range.
Several small planned burns will also be undertaken behind neighbouring properties along Vico Street and the Gillies Range Road, Gordonvale.
Please adhere to closure and information signs at both ends of the walking track.
