Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service will be conducting hazard reduction burns within the Townsville Town Common Conservation Park and Cape Pallarenda Conservation Park from Monday 27 March 2023 to Friday 30 June 2023. As a result, smoke may be seen around the local areas and beyond. Smoke can decrease visibility on the roads, so it is important that motorists drive safely to the conditions
