This alert applies to the following park:
- Bribie Island National Park and Recreation AreaBrisbane; Sunshine Coast
Poverty Creek camping and day-use areas will be closed from Monday 10 July 2023 to undertake major toilet facility upgrade. No public access to the site will be permitted during this closure period.
The site is planned to reopen to campers and day visitors from Friday 1 September 2023.
Campers with bookings during this closure period can modify their bookings or apply for a refund via their online account www.qld.gov.au/camping.
For your safety, please observe all signs, barriers and directions from rangers and do not enter closed areas or facilities.
